Roblox is developed under an object-oriented programming system using programming language Lua to manipulate the environment of the game. It is one of the fastest-growing game creation platforms with more than 100 million players per month. Using Roblox’s built-in editor, students will learn to create your own 3D world. This bootcamp is suitable for children who are keen to learn to create their own game using their creativity and imagination while learning new programming concepts that are applied to the project they create. Students will learn how to design and customize their own heroes, enemies, levels, power-ups, hazards, and more! My lessons are in bite-sized, making it simpler for children to understand. To facilitate and maximise learning outcomes, programs are specially designed and concepts are presented in a fun and visual environment so students get hands-on on how their code works.
At the end of this module, students will be able to:
  1. Learn the basics of Roblox Studio
  2. Learn about Lua programming and level design fundamentals
  3. Create an Obby using baseplate, spawn location and parts.
  4. Create and publish games to the Roblox website
