Michelle is passionate about using drama as a tool to develop both practical and creative skills, one of which is improvisational skills. The world we live in is ever-changing and evolving and it is important to be able to think on our feet and come up with creative and dynamic solutions. This program seeks to begin to develop those skills through the use of fun and exciting drama exercises.
THIS COURSE WILL COVER
  • Vocal skills – teaching your child to use their voice to express themselves
  • Creative Movement – your child will get to explore using their bodies to morph into or move like different creatures or objects
  • Confidence building
  • Voice and body improvisation
  • Basic storytelling and devising skills

Teacher Michelle

Teacher Michelle has a Diploma in Applied Drama and Psychology from Singapore Polytechnic. Michelle has been teaching at Act 3 drama company for the past 2 years. Michelle teaches acting and improvisation to toddlers as young as 1.5 years old to 16 year old teenagers. She loves teaching kids and teens and imparting skills like quick thinking and speaking. She is happiest when students find their own voice and grow in their confidence.
